Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 August 2026. Prepared against the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Legal review still outstanding.
The one-line version
You give four details, they are handed to one installer, that installer calls you. No data is sold and there is no panel.
Being a lead-generation site changes what this policy has to cover
A business that installs turf collects your details in order to do the work itself. This site installs nothing, so the entire reason for collecting anything is to hand it on, once, to a business that does. That single act of disclosure is the substantive part of this policy. Illawarra search results contain plenty of anonymous pages capturing phone numbers for unstated purposes, so spelling ours out seems the least we can do.
The operator, named
Wollongong Turf Quotes is published at wollongongsyntheticturf.pages.dev by Kerbside Websites, ABN 78 654 691 111. That is the entity accountable under the Privacy Act, and the entity to hold to this document.
Itemised: what the form takes
- Your name.
- A contact number, so the installer can call you.
- The suburb the work is in.
- A short description of the job.
There is no fifth item. Payment details are never requested. Sensitive information within the meaning of the Privacy Act is not sought, and anything typed into the job description is forwarded verbatim, so keep that box to the job.
Itemised: every party that sees it
- Web3Forms, the external form service that receives your submission and relays it to us by email.
- Kerbside Websites, briefly, as operator of the site.
- One vetted installer covering the Illawarra, matched to your suburb.
Nobody else, unless a law requires it. The list is short deliberately, and we would rather print it than gesture at "trusted partners".
What does not happen to it
It is not sold. It is not licensed. It is not put out to five contractors to bid over. It is not added to a mailing list for something you never asked about. If any of that ever changes, this page changes first.
Records created automatically
The site runs on Cloudflare Pages, so ordinary server request logs exist as they do for any hosted site. Aggregate analytics count page views and an approximate region derived from an IP address. Those figures are read in bulk, to judge which research pages are worth maintaining. They are not tied back to an individual, no cross-site tracking or advertising pixel is used, and cookies are limited to basic site function.
Storage, retention, security
Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and held with reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. Perfect security does not exist, and a site claiming it would be telling you something useful about itself. Enquiries are retained while they are live and for a limited period afterwards, then deleted.
What you can require of us
The Australian Privacy Principles entitle you to ask what we hold, to have inaccuracies corrected, and to have your details deleted. Make the request through the quote form. We will action it within a reasonable period, confirm when it is done, and give reasons if we cannot.
Disclosed: the McKays Grass Seeds relationship
Kerbside Websites shares ownership interests with McKays Grass Seeds, an Australian lawn care business referenced in some articles here. Records are kept separately and an enquiry lodged on this site is not passed to McKays. We disclose the relationship because an undisclosed one is exactly the sort of thing this site criticises elsewhere.
Amendments and contact
Revisions are marked by the date at the head of this page, and using the site afterwards signals acceptance of the current text. Privacy questions and complaints go through the quote form to Kerbside Websites (ABN 78 654 691 111). There is no phone line on this site, by design. The Terms of Use and the About page cover the rest.
